Getting the COVID-19 Vaccine is a personal decision. Well, I've thought about, I've prayed about it, and I feel it's my responsibility as a believer to at least get really well informed.

I love this place and I know you do too, it's in our blood. Now let's get back to normal and let's fill The Swamp this coming season.

Well, I chose to receive the vaccine because I was just really, really excited and happy that is became available, because I wanted to be able to better protect my patients, my family, which includes my 92-year-old mother-in-law, my neighbors and also myself from getting the virus and possibly sick and die from such a terrible disease.

I think the main reason why I got the vaccine is because 2020 pretty much took a lot out of everyone. And I think trying to find some sort of normalcy - I felt the vaccine was not only my duty, but like, part of my job description to, you know, move forward with science and help everyone in the long term. And I know for me I want a normalcy as well, so I think like the vaccine was a no-brainer for me.

If you're hesitant to get the vaccine, don't believe all the conspiracy theories that are going on out there. You know, this is an effort to help everybody get healthy and stay healthy. So please put all your fears aside and go get the vaccine.

Getting vaccinated was a perfect 10 opportunity to protect myself, my family and Gator Nation.

One of our core values in our program is to be other oriented. In this way, getting the vaccine — it truly is being other-oriented. Don't do it for yourself, do it for others.

I would see it on TV and I said, "Oh, I can't do that." but it's not as bad as all that and don't go by what somebody else tell you, you come and do it for yourself and you'll know that it, it's not bad.

I'm 83, 82 years old, I'm high risk, high blood pressure, heart disease, and I want everything that I can get for my health.

Some people might be very leery about, you know, taking the vaccine or the needle, but it's, it's not painful.
