The Moderna vaccine, the second FDA-approved vaccine, has now arrived on campus and we can start vaccinating with two different vaccines. We’ve already vaccinated over 6,000 UF Health employees and now we have over 13,000 vaccines to start to make an impact. Our health system has rallied our employees; our staff, our faculty have worked almost non-stop for 10 months, but today, in this next few months, really marks the time that we can start to impact this pandemic and hopefully envision a spring where we don’t have COVID filling up our hospitals and we don’t have masks on by summer.
